UltraBox Download & Offline Version
Looking for the official UltraBox download? UltraBox runs online in your browser, but you can also use an offline version from the official GitHub Releases page. This guide explains which file to choose, how to open it, and how to avoid unrelated third-party download pages.
Safe download rule: use the official github.com/ultraabox/ultrabox_typescript releases page for offline files. This page points to the official source; it does not host or mirror the download files.

Is UltraBox Safe to Download?
UltraBox is a free, open-source BeepBox/JummBox-family music editor. The project source code and offline releases are published under the ultraabox GitHub organization. For a safer download process, verify the source before you download:
- Use URLs that begin with
https://github.com/ultraabox/ultrabox_typescript/releases/. - Avoid unrelated pages that use similar names but are not the UltraBox music editor project.
- Do not enter personal information on third-party download pages.
- Prefer the latest official release unless you deliberately need an older version.
- Scan downloaded files locally if your device or organization requires it.
Troubleshooting
The .7z file will not open
Install 7-Zip or another trusted archive extractor, then extract the archive before launching UltraBox.
I downloaded the wrong Windows version
If you are on a modern Windows computer, use UltraBox-win32-x64.7z. Only use UltraBox-win32-ia32.7z for older 32-bit systems.
The HTML version opens in my browser but behaves differently
The HTML version is a portable offline option. Browser privacy settings, local-file restrictions, or external sample URLs can affect behavior. If a project depends on hosted custom samples, check whether those sample links are reachable from your current environment.
Custom samples do not load offline
UltraBox can use URL-based samples, but offline workflows still depend on how those sample URLs are hosted. The official FAQ notes that most sample URLs should work in the offline version, while GitHub raw sample links are a known exception.
